We have a range of accommodation and care services to meet your needs.
Nursing and residential care
We have two nursing and residential care homes on site - Gorseway Lodge and Gorseway House - each offering 24-hour nursing care. All rooms have a nurse-call system and most have en-suite facilities and telephone. The rooms are a mix of single and twin occupancy.
Most of our rooms have been recently redecorated to a very good standard. Gorseway House is a more traditional building with original Victorian features; whereas Gorseway Lodge is a modern building. We find that people are drawn to different buildings depending on their taste. But both settings offer a high standard of care and accommodation that we are sure you will like and enjoy.
Fine dining at the Lodge and the House
If you decide to live with us at the Lodge or the House, you will be served fresh, nutritious and healthy food daily. Find out more about lunch and supper options.
Retirement living
Our leasehold retirement apartments - located around Gorseway's gardens and within our prize-winning Gatehouse development - have been specifically designed to meet the needs of those who wish to maintain an independent lifestyle, but with the added benefit of warden assistance if required. Many of the apartments have sea views.
Respite care
Our respite care service provides short-term care for people recovering from an operation or looking after somebody whilst their own carers take a break. Importantly, this respite care service is available to all Gorseway residents, too.
Day care
We also offer day care for older people, which enables them to socialise and enjoy activities at Gorseway Care.
